What little kid doesn’t beg for either chicken nuggets or macaroni and cheese? My friend told me that she was tired of just feeding her 3 year old both of those and wanted to try something different, but not way off that her daughter wouldn’t want to try the new dish out. This dish today is based off of macaroni and cheese. When I was in high school I used to love to go to the pasta bar and mix the cheese and pasta sauce together. I figured I’d try to create something similar for my friend’s daughter. She ended up enjoying this meal.
One thing that I love about this dish besides the cheesiness of it is the fact that it is made with meatballs. Finally a protein besides chicken nuggets or hot dogs! Don’t get me wrong, I love chicken nuggets and hot dogs every once and awhile, but it is nice to have something else for a change.
